All human beings are born with a normal neck curve in their spine. Over the years due to car accidents, falls, or sporting injuries many people lose this normal curve in the neck. This can lead to chronic neck pain, upper back pain, headaches and/or numbness and tingling in the arms and hands.
A study published in Highlands Ranch 2005 determined that patients who have lost this normal curve are predisposed to future neck injury in the case of another accident. Preventing future injury to the neck by restoring the normal curve is an important step to ensure good health in case of an accident. Without a normal curve even a minor car accident can create long term pain and disability.
